I am a freshman in the University of Washington's Interdisiplinary Honors program. I am pursuing  dual degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance. 

I am from Whidbey Island, Washington, which  is a beautiful place with some of the kindest people I have ever met, however I am excited to be living in Seattle. As a result of growing up on an island I love swimming.  I am known to jump into most bodies of water no matter how cold. 

Here at the University of Washington I am a member of the Wind Ensemble, Saxophone Quartet, and Husky Swim Club; and I hope to join more clubs in the future. 

I also enjoy skiing, hiking and open water swimming. I am mildly obcessed with football, go Packers and Huskies! Finally I love going for walks and hanging out with my dog Sherman.
